Caibidil

'Caibidil' is a portrait series with corresponding poems in Irish. All photographs were taken in winter 2019, at a time when I was getting ready to leave a place I had made home but not fully wanting to let go. 'Caibidil', which translates to chapter from Irish is an effort to hold on to the continual moments from a time and place that we sometimes feel will last forever but ultimately know will fade into memory at some point.

There is a time and place for everything, spaces made up by the bars and cafes we frequent, the meeting places and the ones we surround ourselves with who join up the dots. - this is my effort to capture the essence of that, a chapter of life.

This 24 page zine is printed on 170gsm uncoated paper. Each copy comes with a black and white postcard depicting Dublin.
